I’ve got a feva
Just made an appointment for my second visit to the travel clinic. Gotta get my yellow fever vaccination (ya know, so I don’t turn yellow in Ecuador!). Not super excited about this due to my ongoing fear of needles. Haven’t passed out in a while but it’s probably for the best if Daddy Dearest comes along to drive just in case.
And a word of advice for PC hopefuls: no matter how much you want to celebrate, jump for joy and scream out from the highest rooftop when you think you’re done with all your medical forms and appointments, DON’T. You’re pretty much never done. I hear I’ll probably even be in for more shots at staging. Don’t be all upset when you realize you have yet another vaccination to get or some other obscure test to be done that requires more blood work. You’re never done with medical stuff. You’ve been warned.
